Mezzanine floors
A mezzanine is the fastest way to add floor area without extending the building, but it is structural work with a regulatory tail. The deck itself is straightforward steel and flooring; the surrounding questions: slab capacity under the columns, egress stairs, fire separation, sprinkler coverage below and above the deck, and the approval pathway, are where mezzanine projects are won or lost.

Warehouse fitout zones share space with forklifts, live racking and overhead work. Respect exclusion barriers and traffic management, never store stock against incomplete racking or under unfinished decks, and report struck racking uprights or damaged fire equipment immediately.
